Broad Run Bridge Replacement

Original bridge spanning across the creek on Broad Run Road became structurally deficient needing replacement. Cornerstone Engineering was awarded this project in 2015. We acquired the precast foundation system and installed at site. We installed the ConSpan precast arch bridge/culvert that consisted of 6 arch sections using 250 Ton crane and ensured connection between foundation and the precast superstructure arch. Also, we installed as needed cast-in-place concrete in and around the foundation and performed coarse aggregate backfill.
